In 2026, retreats take place exclusively in Sardinia - a wild, beautiful island known for its light, landscape, and slow Mediterranean rhythm. Sardinia is recognised as one of the world’s Blue Zones, regions identified by researchers for exceptional longevity linked to lifestyle, diet, movement, and social connection.

These retreats are immersive creative resets, blending the ease of Mediterranean living with space to move, create, reflect, and reconnect.

Each retreat weaves together:

yoga and embodied movement

floral art using seasonal, local materials
relaxed sip & paint evenings (this is Sardinia, after all)

Art & Floral Practice

My creative practice spans painting and floral art, often intersecting with retreats, workshops, collaborative projects, and relaxed sip & wine evenings.

Floral work is approached as an art form in its own right - seasonal, expressive, and playful. It is used as a medium for creativity, presence, and shared experience, encouraging exploration through colour, form, and natural materials.

Across both painting and floristry, the focus is on process rather than perfection, creating space for connection, enjoyment, and creative flow.

I’m Karen-Marie Axworthy. Welsh by birth, well-travelled by nature, and now based in Sardinia, Italy.

My work sits at the meeting point of art, heart, and beauty. I value clarity and professionalism, but I also believe creativity should feel light, joyful, and down-to-earth. Whether I’m representing artists, teaching yoga, or hosting retreats, I work with warmth, openness, and genuine care.

I’m drawn to people who love good conversation, shared meals, colour, flowers, and ideas - and who appreciate creative experiences that are thoughtful yet playful, grounded yet full of life.

This is a space shaped by curiosity, connection, and joy - where art and life is taken seriously, but never too seriously.
